New Work: Portraits for Business & Personal Branding
We recently had the pleasure of working with Studio PPARK, a full-service design practice focused primarily on residential construction and renovation.
For the shoot, we traveled to their design studio in Irvington, New York, overlooking the Hudson River in Westchester County. The goal was to create a mix of professional headshots and environmental portraits that felt natural and reflected both the people and the character of their workspace.
The studio had beautiful natural window light, which we complemented with our own lighting to create a consistent, polished look while maintaining the natural feeling of the space.
Photographing people in their own working environment offers possibilities that are different from a traditional studio session. In addition to clean headshots, the surrounding architecture, objects, and natural light can become part of the photographs, adding context and a stronger sense of place.
For businesses and personal branding, this combination can be particularly useful. A single shoot can create a range of imagery for company websites, team pages, LinkedIn profiles, press and publicity, social media, and other marketing materials.
While many of our sessions take place at our private Brooklyn studio, we regularly photograph individuals and teams on location at offices, homes, and other spaces throughout New York City and the surrounding area, including Westchester County.
