A Different Approach to NYC Headshots
Fall is here in New York City, and we've been busy at our Brooklyn studio photographing actors, artists, executives, designers, entrepreneurs, musicians, architects, real estate professionals, and people from across the city's creative and professional communities.
At Natural Studio, we take a slightly different approach to portrait and headshot photography.
We're inspired by simplicity, beautiful light, and a modern sense of refinement. Rather than relying on overly posed expressions or a formula for how a professional headshot should look, we work with each person individually and allow room for the photographs to develop naturally.
We pay attention to light, composition, expression, and the subtle moments in between. The goal is to create images that feel polished but not overly produced—photographs that feel present, relaxed, and genuinely connected to the person in front of the camera.
Sometimes that results in a classic headshot. Sometimes it becomes something closer to a portrait. We like having room for both.
Our private Brooklyn studio provides a quiet, relaxed environment for shoots, and we also photograph people on location throughout New York City.
