At Natural Studio, we photograph portraits and headshots both at our Brooklyn studio and on location throughout New York City.
Our private studio near Park Slope is a great option for clean, simple headshots and portraits where the focus stays on the person. We also regularly travel to client offices, homes, outdoor locations, and other spaces throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the greater NYC area.
On-Location Portraits in NYC
Shooting on location can give portraits a different feeling by incorporating the character of a home, workplace, neighborhood, or other environment.
The photograph below is from a recent shoot at a home in the West Village. We loved the color palette, artwork, and natural character of the space and used those elements to create a series of contemporary portraits that felt connected to the environment.
For location shoots, we can bring professional lighting and equipment with us, often combining our lighting with the existing natural and ambient light of the space.

Whether we're working in the studio or on location, our approach is much the same. We want people to feel comfortable and able to be themselves in front of the camera.
